Accreditation Board
The Accreditation Board, named by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment, directs FINAS's operations. The Board includes five to seven members familiar with accreditation operations and a representative of the Ministry. In addition to monitoring finances, the Board decides on policy, sets goals for the operations, and monitors their realisation.
Advisory Committee and VANK P
The Advisory Committee for Conformity Assessment Matters and its Subcommittee for Accreditation Matters, VANK P, set out a position in regard to the operations of the accreditation body and its independence and impartiality. The 24 members of the Subcommittee represent FINAS's clients and other interest groups. The Advisory Committee is named by the Government and serves for a three–year period.
