Accreditation decision

When the assessment team has ascertained that the accreditation requirements are met, the lead assessor compiles a summary overview of the assessment, which presents the grounds for the accreditation decision.

The accreditation decision is made by the Director of FINAS. The precondition for a positive decision is that the client has been found to meet all requirements for competence. An accreditation decision is generally valid for four years, but in special cases the validity period may be shorter.
