FINAS (Finnish Accreditation Service) is committed to handling any requests for rectification and appeals concerning its operations without delay, impartially and objectively.
If the recipient of decision or statement of assessment finds that there is a factual or clerical error in the decision or statement of assessment or their appendices that requires correction, the recipient must notify FINAS (akkreditointi (at) finas.fi). FINAS will handle the request for rectification of the decision or statement of assessment and, if necessary, FINAS will give a corrected decision or statement of assessment.
In accordance with the administrative procedure, the recipient of decision by FINAS has the right to appeal to the Administrative Court. The instructions for making an appeal are attached to the accreditation decision and available from FINAS.
FINAS hopes to receive feedback on its activities. Clients have the opportunity to give feedback on the implementation of the assessment process, the assessment team’s work, the reporting, and on other aspects pertaining to FINAS’s activities. Feedback can be given freely in writing (akkreditointi (at) finas.fi), orally or using the feedback form. All feedback is taken into account when developing FINAS’ services.
