There are no changes to the accreditation standards applied by FINAS Accreditation Service. The update was made to reflect the end of the transition periods for the previous editions of the standards.
- The applicable accreditation standard for clinical laboratories is now SFS-EN ISO 15189:2022 only.
- The applicable accreditation standard for proficiency testing providers is now SFS-EN ISO/IEC 17043:2023 only.
Further updates to some accreditation standards will be made later. In addition, the activities of Global ACI will be incorporated into Decision P1.
